bradkim 8 Posted October 17, 2007 So many images have been made out of sand dunes. Whenever I visit the sand dunes in Death Valley NP, I always find many photographers working out there. This makes me feel that I have to find new vision, and I have to make unique images from sand dunes. But I realize it is not an easy task. Your comments/critiques are invited. Link to comment
highflyingmary 0 Posted October 17, 2007 I love what you did. When I first looked at it I would have never guessed it was a sand dune. Great job! Link to comment
phototrail 0 Posted October 17, 2007 Great image of the sand dunes, I like the arrangement of lights and shadows and composition; it makes me want to caress it since it feels so smooth, I agree with you, nature is the artist, we just record details of its art. I also do sand dunes here in Venezuela , yes is a challenge but I find it is helping me to SEE better. Congratulations! Link to comment

Charles_Webster 226 Posted October 17, 2007 Yes, when I saw this first, I too assumed it was a nude torso, the broken dune near the top makes a convincing navel on first glance. But then.... Very well seen, I'm glad you challenge yourself in this way. We all benefit. Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted October 31, 2007 I love the sweeping curves and delicate wind rippling, the interplay of light and shadow, the wind-carved bowls... A very fine image. Regards... Link to comment

bradkim 8 Posted November 6, 2007 Thank you all who visited and commented on this photo! Viewers' reactions have been more positive than I had expected.... Mother Nature continuously makes changing sculptures on sand dunes. It is up to humans to find/see/enjoy those artworks. Link to comment

janc 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Hi Brad! You have got it. This is a wonderful dune shot. I like the spot on the top of the frame, it provides a sand reference. Great curved lines with a nice composition. Best regards. Link to comment
