bradkim 8 Posted October 9, 2007 It is amazing to see those plants survive on these harsh sand dunes... and make a scene for my photograph. Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted October 9, 2007 You sure always do such a wonderful job with the dunes. Love the diagonal striations (might've looked cool to crop or compose from the top just below where that first bush is to get only the diagonals and tones. Great work in any case. Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted October 10, 2007 Thank you Emmanuel for visiting! And thank you Jeff for kind suggestion! I tried to re-compose the image, keeping your suggestion in mind. Please have a look at my re-work. Do you like it? Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted October 10, 2007 No pressure either way of course (after all, it is "your" shot! :-) but this is kinda what I was thinking (though a totally diferent shot), So, long and the short of it, it's just a thought as I already really like what you did as it is. Cheers Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted October 11, 2007 So simple and yet so beautiful ... and very nice of that tree to grow right there just for you Brad - (you didn't bring it yourself? (0; ? ) I also want to tell you that I very much like your bio picture Brad. Has a great atmosphere and a story. Tells more than an ordinary portrait. Link to comment

ifti 1 Posted March 29, 2009 Great observation and lovely composition with its curves patterns and shades Link to comment
antoniobassiphotography 0 Posted March 29, 2009 It looks a bit underexposed to me, looks like a night picture. If you want to keep a "gray" look it's fine but you need to balance it a little. CheersPS: you re-work earlier posted works great, I would definitely go with that one! It enhances both the tree a lot more, and that is the subject, and the dunes that are the "secondary" subject. antoniobassiphotography 0 Posted March 29, 2009 So, I think you re-work should look more like this... Ciao! Link to comment
