Great shot Tim! We (my dog Lily and I) see a lot of Herons on our run by the Mississippi every evening. They always look sort of prehistoric as they fly away.

The light here is perfect and you where there to capture the moment and made a wonderful composition with it. The reflections seem abstract but the general feel of the image does not strike me as so. We have many of these annoying buzzards around our trout pond. They seem to view the pond as an all you can eat sushi bar. Very strong image Tim.
