Rorbu

Hi Elena, I have never heard of a rorbu before, it looks like a great place to live in summer but does someone live there in winter? I have so mant questions - is it surrounded by sheep etc. Many thanks Elena it is fascinating. Best wishes Terry

It was in North Norway in Lofoten island (one of the most beautiful place that I have ever seen). This one was rented during the summer but the people live in similar rorbu also during the winter! It is a very strange land there is sea, sand, grass, sheeps and mountains in few meters!

It sounds like the Hebrides - now called the Western Isles off the west coast of Scotland. Looks a wonderful place for a summer holiday if you enjoy peace and quiet, best wishes
