someoneelse 1 Posted October 7, 2007 Hi John, we were at the north of Creta, near Heraklion, the place we stayed was Chersonissos, and this picture was made in the mountains, in a beautifull pitoresk Greec village, called Krasi, we have been there on a short holiday for just a week, and for sure I will be back, lots to see and discover Dear Rycho, more and more and more 4-ever Link to comment
terrygilroy 0 Posted October 7, 2007 great technique turning the banal into beauty. Well worked image, I really must find out how to use PS. Best wishes Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted October 8, 2007 Thank you so much Terry, and to be honest, I don't understand PS also, what I did with this picture, was only clarify it and some saturation, I just sometimes play in paint shop, and look what the results are, I also have to learn a lot Els Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted October 8, 2007 Stunning image, beautifully composed. Whatever saturation work you did is perfect. At first from the thumbnail I thought this might be an HDR shot. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted October 9, 2007 These are three beautiful textural images made by your treatment of them. They have an almost graphic watercolor quality very well suited to the subject matter. This is the composition which I like best - original and well structured. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted October 10, 2007 A surrealistic image,Els. Without knowing much of photoshop, you have achieved very good result. I feel you know what is Art. Link to comment
christineandrews 0 Posted October 11, 2007 Cool photo...it looks like a postcard from Mad Max... Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted October 11, 2007 Thanks Mark, I only don't know what a HDR shor means Thank you Roger, when you clearify, and saturate, it get this effect, and I also thought it was good to do with my last 3 oploads Thanks Amal, I am an artist, that's what Ryszard Tychawski always say to me Hi Daily, I am happy with your comment Thanks Christine, I only don't know Mad Max and when I google it, I get a kind of warior in a movie with love Els Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted October 11, 2007 Els, I like the appearance and feel of this image I read on one of your responses that you bumped up the saturation; I really think that helped make this image very interesting. Not only does the barrel look like it is floating but like it is stuck between two doorways/decisions that go in opposite directions. Kirk Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted October 12, 2007 Dear Kirk, always happy with your comments, food for the mind you know, I am just looking through your eyes now (a little bit) with love Els Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Glad to Els, its easy as most of your work is captivating. Looking at this image again, I think the tilt of the barrel is what gave me the impression of a decision being made. You know, like how people tend to tilt their heads when contemplating something or trying to see it in a different way... Kirk Link to comment
Lieve groet,Wim. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted October 16, 2007 To look at a different way, is just interesting Kirk, very much interesting, like you are Ha die Wim, de deuren van mijn huis staan nog altijd wagenwijd open, duszszsszzz kom 's langs, en ik zal je verzekeren dat je dit niet in de deuropening vindt, maar meer dan een hartelijk welkom, en absoluut niet zo scherp, verhelderen is meer het ding wwat ik heb gedaan, verhelderend vind je niet?
