tom grubbe 0 Posted October 28, 2007 I have never intentionally used wind blur in a composition before so I'd like to hear your thoughts. Link to comment

antoniobassiphotography 0 Posted October 28, 2007 It is actually a great tecnique that I love, gives this sense of smoothness. Great picture here, lighting is beautiful. Maybe a bit too much contrast on the sky in the background. Or is it natural? Link to comment
tom grubbe 0 Posted October 28, 2007 The sky is natural. On the 6x7 slide it looks a little darker but probably less saturated. It was the awesome light against the dark sky that made me compose this shot in the first place. But because I had slow film I was forced to use the wind blur in the composition. Link to comment
lucyliuc 0 Posted October 28, 2007 Wonderfull effect, colors, interesting, as it gives opposite feelings...cozyness and fear on the other side. Link to comment
erikadams 0 Posted October 29, 2007 This is one of my favorites from your portfolio. The light against the dark sky is superb, and I like the watercolor effect that the motion from the wind creates. Good layering in the composition. Link to comment
nicholebreton 0 Posted November 1, 2007 I love this! It's one of the oddest yet neatest things to see when the sky is all dark from an impending storm but the sun is on the other side and lights everything up. I always wondered what it would look like captured in a photo. I also like how the bare branches of the background trees look like they have a bit of a halo around them...adds to the surreality (is that a word) of the scene. Nice job! Link to comment
