Misty mountains

The weather was awful, but this actually made for a great photographic

opportunity. Half hidden in mist, the mountain made a quite dreamy

landscape.

A really lovely image that is aesthetically pleasing. In my humble opinion (IMHO) I would crop some of the sky. Now I know what Raymond means: when you are writing the comment, the image goes horizontal.

Thanks for the comments. I am not sure why the image goes horizontal when you comment. Probably something to do with the exif tags.

 

As to cropping the sky or not, I wondered whether to do it or not. It certainly is a large empty place. But this landscape makes me think of the traditional japanese paintings, which do use a lot of white space, so I left it as is.
