brandon.r.foster 0 Posted October 5, 2007 Margaret, you mean Cheesy. That was the whole point. I am going to be a level 1 certified sommelier in November, and a friend and I were drinking a ripasso when I jokingly brought him some Cheetos. We have a mutual friend in Cali, that is a huge player in the wine scene. We shot some images of ourselves eating them with wine, and sent them to her. She wanted me to do some more experimental shots with it. There will be one of a public sampling coming sometime in the future. If we can joke about the serious things in our lives, then we will never take anything too seriously. Well, except for photography. B. Link to comment
margaret1 0 Posted October 6, 2007 True, it is totally cheesy, but aren't they also made with corn, which I cannot eat and miss? And so now you will be able to tell me which are the best wines? Sounds good to me. PS I like reds. Link to comment
brandon.r.foster 0 Posted October 7, 2007 While a white like Albariño would be ideal, you could pull off a nice Ripasso, or perhaps a Chianti. Perhaps the fruit and crisp acidity of an 05 Cru Beaujolais would work well too. This is really a versatile snack food. Look for some upcoming efforts with jerky and other gas station food as well. This will probably wind up being a series... Link to comment
