Matt Laur 2,201 Posted October 3, 2007 This blueback was flushed up by a Weimaraner and made for the trees with a tailwind. Thanks for looking, and for comments. Link to comment
aeh 0 Posted October 3, 2007 Excellent!! Years ago when I was a young kid (many years)I had a chance to hunt with a couple of Weimaraners that were owned by the guy who brought the first ones to the U.S. Anyway I digress, this is a great photo. Best to you, Al Link to comment
Matt Laur 2,201 Posted October 6, 2007 Thanks, all, for taking the time to look at Mr. Rooster, here. He was quite a sight, sailing away into that tree line. Hopefully, he'll find a nice hen, settle down, and work on gettting the Maryland pheasant population back! Link to comment
timkeller 0 Posted April 19, 2008 You've gone ten days (!) without posting a photo, Matt, cunningly driving me back into your portfolio for my Matt Laur fix. I love the contrast of the almost white bird here against those deep dark greens. The frozen motion of the bird is fascinating, his placement in the frame perfect. Link to comment
