Great composition, excellent title, beautiful light

1853-1860 -- 7 years old : (

Family plot on the edge of a corn field under a shade tree. No evidense of the fence that would have been here to keep animals away from the plots and the close proximity of the corn implies a new owner. Well done -- quite a story.

Fine and evocative shot. In the very rural Midwest area where I live, there are many such family plots, but as John Mac indicated, they are usually enclosed by some sort of fencing. Now and again, though, I come across one that is either untended and/or unguarded like this one. They certainly tell stories. Again, a fine capture. Regards...
