i think the lower 2/3 makes a much stronger composition. i attached a crop to show what i mean. the band of yellow crossing the frame about 1/3 of the way down actually forms a beautiful upper boundary, if you choose to crop it this way. see what you think.

Good point Anish ! I had the same feeling when scrolling the window so that the image was cropped the way you kindly suggest. The problem for me is that I am not enthusiastic with square formats and unfortunately all my images (6 in total) where taken vertical and there is not enough space on the left(if horizontal, would crop and keep the dimensional ratio). However if I have the opportunity to visit that place again this autumn, I promise to take account of your advice.
