lonebearimages 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Ross, this is very, very good! What an ethereal feeling you've captured; and greens beyond green! I also like the soft focus on both sides, good use of DOF. Do you know what the white flowers are? I am assuming that this was taken during the spring. Excellent composition. I left you a detailed response to your question on the black and white Temblor Hills image that you commented on. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

ryourth 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Thank you both for your very kind comments. You are right Chris, it was taken in the spring, late spring. The white flower is Ontario's provincial flower, the Trillium. In early spring the woods are covered in the beautiful white & occasional red flowers.Best regards-Ross Link to comment

httpwww.photos.netphot 0 Posted January 19, 2008 Very evocative, Ross. Looks like a spirit of light materializing in the depths of a dark forest and illuminating the whole scene! The only thing I would do to improve this photo is to clone out those two lens flares at the base of the left middle tree. Thanks again for your positive comment on my Bagley Lake photo.
