jcpopper 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Dramatic and effective way to depict the fearsome glare that confronts all parents from time to time -- like every other hour. Fine work. Regards... Link to comment
alibek 0 Posted September 29, 2007 Enough to disregard the age entirely. Her look is timeless and it seems to set the rest to love her or to hate; inversing humbling onto statement... like it just sais "all's in your grasp". What twice as makes the sense as we unveil how young she is. Two years ago, as when I was 14, I've never been like this. The toning is a hit, besides the grainy blur, suppressed by the contrast, helps you (or her) to make a statement, concreticize &get rock solid. Alibek Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 29, 2007 I agree, She is timeless and exactly what a parent see's ~ EEEK :) But she is also my BBF. YEP. Reminds me. I must post her laughing. Link to comment
kasey wilson 0 Posted September 29, 2007 Micki, this is great! She almost looks like a cat, giving you 'the glare' if you look at her. And she is very beautiful! One can only hope she gives this look to prospective boyfriends, LOL! ;) KW Link to comment

JohnMWright 1 Posted September 30, 2007 Great capture. Great title, it really fits. What an attitude! I wonder where she got that hmmm? I love what you did with it, fantastic toning and contrast. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 30, 2007 Even my worst critique, the daughter herself, even liked it. YEAH!:) Link to comment
snapshooter 0 Posted September 30, 2007 Love it, Micki. Excellent. The slightly crooked mouth from clenched teeth adds perfect realism. Link to comment
ciana_high 0 Posted September 30, 2007 I really like this one, and I know you wont believe me but this looks much like a picture of me about the time of my parents divorce. Same glare and gritting of teeth. I did stare down to my Mom! Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted September 30, 2007 This is totally awesome!!!!! She must love this!! Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 30, 2007 She does love it toally. It is I think one of her favorite pictures now! It does look like you mom. I noticed it right off. Lots of her friends say she looks like a model in this picture. :) Link to comment

petespositives 0 Posted October 1, 2007 With looks like this the world could be disarmed in a few hours... Do you remember Gort from 'The Day The Earth Stood Still'? His sister is alive and well :) A classic! Pete Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Nothing is as powerful and intense as the gaze of a fourteen year-old girl. Able to both freeze and melt ice. A decade from now when the world has changed for both of you, you both will dig this out the archives and LAUGH!!! Micki, given that my 3 year-old can approximate this look when I tell her no, your glimpse into my future is frightening. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted October 2, 2007 no seriously. AND by the way remember she is my best friend too. Link to comment
kareng 0 Posted October 2, 2007 I love that look. Reminds me of my niece who is 15. Like this a lot in B&W with the extra contrast (I'm assuming that's what it is.) Good stuff. I submitted a shot in Humor just for you. Karen Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 2, 2007 Hehehe... I saw this pic a few days ago... and it SCARED ME!!! Not like a spider or a cow or anything like that though :) I love it! The attitude is perfect. Poor you though, having to deal with it... HAHAHA!!! (hope she reads that)... well, in actual fact, I would have to take her side regardless ;P Love the eyelashes :) Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted October 2, 2007 A very strong & serious portrait, Micki. I don't think I can win her stern stare :-) Nice effect. Link to comment
