I was a little concern about this photo because so much of the rock texture gets lost on the computer screen. The larger version is better, but even that version loses much of the detail. There is just nothing like a good print.

I see in the larger version. A very beautiful photo with a good B&W, a very nice composition. There is just the tree trunk which is not different too much from rock it would perhaps better draw, good shot, amts

Patrick and Bonnet, thank you for your kind comments. It is funny how, in the same photo viewed at different scales, the eye is drawn to different things. I think this photo really works larger. It is difficult to see the tree on the small computer screen. In any case, thank you for your comments. Dan

Very nicely done. Great tones. I especially like the way you got the active tree branches to stand out against the one relatively calm part of the rock wall.
