Matthew Brennan 3 Posted September 28, 2007 Do these three horizontal planes work together in this shot or should I crop some of the sky and some of the grass? Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted September 28, 2007 What a beautiful Lighting and how colorful the farms are. I hate to talk about compositional rules, but not having the big tree (cottonwood?) near center would definitely help here. The bird is a fantastic addition. I think I would crop to have the tree in the rule of third position here. Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Oh and horizontal planes are perfect. may be you can experiment contrast in the clouds slightly. Link to comment
Matthew Brennan 3 Posted September 28, 2007 Thanks Lalit, Trees are eucalypts- native to Australia. I deliberately shot this with both the large round tree and the decrepid broken tree so that I could make crop adjustments and include / exclude or move either. Some days are great for capturing the light like this and other days it's best to keep the camera in it's bag. Link to comment
