I've always liked this photo, there is something interesting about it, but at the same time I

cannot help but think that it's not very good. Perhaps too busy, not the best composition,

I'm not really sure. Comments?

Its funny but I feel the same way. I like the photo, or at least some part of it, but at the same time, there is something that is a little out of balance. It made me think, that maybe I am so used to see symmetrical compositions that I suddenly find it hard to watch anything else. The lines of the chairs do not point to the center of the photo or the center of the square. The obelix does not have space around it, because of the building behind it. And the crowd of people at the right seem to be interested in something that is out of our sight.

I see two ideas in the same picture. One of the chairs, and one of an architectural interest of the buildings and square. Maybe it would be an idea to separate the two ideas in two different photos?
