tsypkin 230 Posted September 27, 2007 I photographed what I thought was a chipmunk at the Lassen Volcanic Naitonal Park in California. But then I read somewhere that the park had a population of ground squirrels, not chipmunks. Can anybody tell me what exactly is this animal? Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted September 27, 2007 I think this one is Dale... Chip is around the corner. Sorry, bad joke. From examples I've seen this looks more like the ground squirrel. Chipmunks have linier stripes that go from nose to tale and can be seen right above the eyes (from this view). They're both cute little buggers. Link to comment
