This is a rather fascinating flower image!

 

When I view the larger version, it almost seems like the center of the flower is slow-burning, not unlike a candle whose wick has just about run out, just before it begins to fade.

 

Beautifully captured. The colours make the illusion of being aflame work, and the overall softness of the image lends itself to the burning illusion.

This is incredible. I took a picture of a lily in the botanical garden of Glencoe Illinois which looked almost the same last summer. How strange. Yours is different but so similar.

To me, I see a flame. A stunning image, the slight shadows, the color, all is well with this photo. Nicely composed. :)
