This is a very soft and compelling portrait Birte. Her eyes are amazingly communicative. I love the processing you did on this. Is this a "painting with light" technique? Regards - michel

thanks for your reply Birte. It's lovely. The dark and softness of the image gives a very intimate feeling. The girl's expression is also very compelling, she looks as she is trying to communicate with the viewer. Great work Birte.

This is beautiful. I find it interesting that you chose to leave out the catch lights in the eyes - very apt decision for the title and mood it conveys. Nicely done!
