Great photo with nice colour. Has almost a surreal feel to it.

...the bottom 25% really doesn't go with the rest. i would bite the bullet and crop it out. perhaps even 33%. the perspective shifts from normal to weird down there.

 

does it take all the special gear to achieve such great results? i have the same camera and lens, but i've never experimented with graduated filters.

It is an unusual perspective. This makes part of the strength of this photo. The rock and grass is a bit too soft. Karl

Surely in this case, "Unusual," just means the photographer was standing on a bit of rock sticking out further than the rest. The little green corner shows how the photo was taken, but not in an interesting or clever or graceful way.

Well, in order to please some viewers, photographer should jump in the water and on his/her way down manage to take a picture ;) Then, they will say - this photo is unusual!

I think, the job is well done. Very relaxing view.
