Excellent! I'm envoius. This is well composed, well exposed, well captured... and makes me wonder. What are they up to? It would be fun to run a "caption contest" with this photo and see what people suggest.

Hacia tiempo que un retrato no me causaba tan magnifica impresion. Bueno ya esta bien de halagos.

Thanks very much to all of you for your encouraging comments, indeed the strong and enigmatic gaze of this young girl was the reason that moves me to make this series, and I like the results too. I sound a bit pedantic and arrogant, sorry.

Very interesting also Carlo. I wonder if the hand this time adds anything though .. when I cover it with my hand I somehow feel that I relate even closer to the model. Very effective at any rate ... bravo.

Carlos, this one is magic as well. I don't think that the hand is needed. The look of the eyes makes it! beautiful.

You have used contrast to create a very dramatic photo. When coupled with the facial expression (particularly the eyes), this foto and the other in this series are extraordinary!

Thank you very much to all of you my friends, your kind comments are a confirmation of some ideas and concepts that I have. Dear Pnina and John, I was checking a change on this portrait following your observation about the hand, and I have serious doubts about it. When I was looking at the "no hand" version I've perceived a change on the general mood, not as dramatic as to say "a different photo", but it was enough as to say "I need the hand framed for my original purpose". IMHO the tightened gesture of her hand is reinforcing the hardness of her gaze, pulling the fabric as a kind of barrier between her and the observer, even between her and the foreground girl. Nevertheless thank you very much for your comments, it is very important for me coming from talented people like you.

Even better than the previous similar posting. And also for me the hand is not needed. The two faces are so beautifully framed, the look so intriguing...

Un retrato que me encanta Carlos, tanto por el aire un tanto misterioso que has sabido darle como por la excelente edicion. Mi enhorabuena.

Sorry I missed this when first posted. It's a very moving image -- and a fine addition to an intriguing series. Regards...

La composicion y la estetica de esta foto me conmueve. Le has aplicado el G.Surgery? porque la cara que esta en primer plano se ve un poco "lavada".

Hmm .. a second thought on the matter ... What I think would be very effective is if a large cross or a prayer book was held in the visible hand ... remains a very impressing photo Carlo ...
