i love the composition of this shot, but it has that 'i shot this through glass' look... do you think if you pushed the contrast a little bit it would help make this pop?

Jim, I did shoot this through glass, obviously, lol, I can try playing with the contrast more. I had to edit out a ton of scratches on the glass as well as peoples head reflections. I will play with it some more!

What a fabulous and dreamy photograph. Agree about a little contrast boost, but seriously this is so nice...and through glass no less. Fantastic.

Here is the photo with a tad more contrast, not much though.. should I ad more? Also the original file too..ick! It has come a long way!

i'd say even a bit more contrast would make things sweeter.

Ok. So I finally signed up, just so I could make comments! You know I remember sitting beside you in class while you were working on this one, and I seem to remember telling you that it was under contrast! LOL Looks better with the pumped up contrast!

sad to see orcas in a zoo...

but the expression of your capture is very good,

Shot through glass or not, it still is a stunning image of these magnificent creatures! How else are we going to get up close to them unless we are fortunate enough to capture them in the wild which most of us can't do! A very beautiful capture...you should be proud of this one...I know I would be! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
