peter_daalder 0 Posted February 20, 2008 The village dwellings, the village road, the trees along the road and the hills beyond, demand my attention in this image. The foreground material is absolutely superb, but every time that I view this, my eyes get drawn towards the background...It is quite possible that you (justifiably) recorded a great place and time, but I would have approached this subject matter from a more abstract perspective. I enjoyed playing around with your original. I hope you don't mind... Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted February 20, 2008 Thanks Peter. I liked your version also. This time one feels like to be within an "endless" sea of sunflowers. I could have never noticed myself that there was another (can I say "entirely different"?) photo within mine! Thanks very much indeed... Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted February 24, 2008 Yes, Bulent, you can indeed say an "entirely different" photo...Basically, I'm kind of jealous that you came across a scene like this. I would love to record something similar myself, but unfortunately, this is not easily found in Tasmania.Cheers, Link to comment

timzeipekis 5 Posted May 6, 2008 A wonderfully composed scene, I love the distance and feeling of space........I came across a sunflower field a few years back, completely by chance but I was without camera, since then I've been trying to relocate it to no avail.........congrats on this! blue-olympus 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Fantastic shot...Love the way your eye is drawn toward the avenue of trees and then spreads back around into the maze of flowers again...This is fantastic viewing!! Link to comment

jkilgo 0 Posted April 9, 2009 You have a very nice eye for composition...you have woven this image together beautifully. The elements draw me in and my eyes can help but wander lazily throughout the entire image...I don't want to miss a single detail. Very nicely captured. By the way, thanks for stopping by and taking time to rate my "No Pretense" portrait. Your rating is very generous and I really appreciate it. Jeff. Link to comment
hagar 7,462 Posted September 21, 2009 A nice two for one deal.. I have a slight preference for the original, but I think Peter's interpretation is quite lovely as well. I'll have to work on that trick of getting two shots with one click :-) Link to comment
