regis 0 Posted September 21, 2007 Another shot from my recent trip along amazing Ayrshire Coast. There are so many beautiful places that everybody can find something interesting to capture. Turnberry Bay is not an exception - beautiful spot, full of wonderful colours & structures when the tide is low. The Lighthouse visible in the distance is Ayrshire's only mainland lighthouse and stands within the remains of Turnberry Castle (where Robert the Bruce was probably born in 1274). The small island on the right is Aisla Craig - a natural seabird reserve, which is considered to be one of the most important breeding sites for northern gannets. It is also a haven for other seabird species, including guillemot and razorbill. My last post was a vertical shot - now it's time for a wider vista. Please have a look at the larger version. Your comments/critiques much appreciated. Link to comment
