Is this the same group of rowdies where about 200 got arrested for climbing over the barriers? I'm guessing someone quickly posted your bail... 8~)#

Shawn, you are correct - same group - but I was not among them, or I would have called you for bail. :) Police had blocked off a large area in front of the Capitol and about 200 of the marchers did climb over the barricades, were arrested and kept till 6 in the morning. You must have done some digging to find out about this, as most people are not even aware of the peace march. Not covered or barely covered by our gullible press.

I only read the NY Times for my news, I don't watch TV at all. The NYT had online and next day printed information on this protest so that is how I knew about it. I'm impressed that you were there and sorry that I was not. I might have been arrested!?!

Shawn, not to worry - I would have posted bail for you in that case! And I do know there was some coverage, but not enough for an event of that magnitude. Some coverage - like on FOX news - was totally slanted. Not a surprise, of course. But even the WP got the story wrong, though now they are posting sort of a 'correction' on line. Too little, too late. Anyway, I am sure this will not be the last event, so you may still have an opportunity to go. See you there! :)
