mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 19, 2007 Cause Green is the color of the trees (says Kermit) AND green is the what this picture is here. I just wonder if it loses something. I wonder. hmmm Comments? Critique Thanks for looking. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted September 19, 2007 I prefer the b/w because the green seems too bright or oversaturated. But I think it's just that it's too bright because the tops of the leaves in this one are very bright (hot spots) too. If you have a histogram on your camera, you can check your hot spots. mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 20, 2007 Yeah... I was playing with all the lights in the background and the light that played on the twig. There was more light to the right of the rwig and it curved all around the twig too. I couldn't believe how green the color came out either and I only had the UV filter on the camera (playing around with that too). I took this in RAW and that was why it was so vivd (I thinnk). The others were not that vivid. Very weird. Link to comment
gerfoy3 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Ohhh, a twig, a silly twig...silly or not, I like it.... The light does a great job of creating little splashes of life. Ger.. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 20, 2007 But because it is out there so far from everything else it was really wild. It is supposed to rain soon and I hope to get it with drops on it. That will be interesting too. Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted October 29, 2007 Micki, I'm glad you kept the B&W of this -- I like it better than I did the colour/green version. I might have liked the point of focus a little closer to the tip. But, that is a minor issue on an otherwise lovely image. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted October 30, 2007 I should try something like this again. I need to work on the focal points :) Glad you like it. Link to comment
