foto zerüi 0 Posted September 23, 2007 Nice idea. I'm a sucker for the genre "figure in landscape". Here you had a great location, so there was potential for a great landscape. But the burnt-out sky kills it. Turning to the foreground: it is too dark. Fill in studio flash would have helped bring the picture to life. Now the figure. Her frock is too dark - no detail. Her pose and the sunlight emphasize the fact that her breasts are exposed, which is a nice feature of the picture. Yet the figure is somehow lost against the background. I'd more her to the right and reverse the pose. And choose a lower camera position to make her rise above the skyline to the right of the opera house. I would also get a little closer to eliminate most of the foreground cobbles and most of the sky. Finally I would change the colour temperature. Make the mood warmer - summer evening. It's too blue. I hope you perservere with this difficult genre. Good luck, John Link to comment
drache 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Hello John, many thanks for the detailed remark, pleases me very much! You are right, she loses herself a little bit in the background, but this was also small little intention, one should look two spots. The colour temperature is a game with a digital cross filter... I will notice your other tips to me for next time! Regards Steffen Link to comment
