Despite the strong composition this is a surprisingly delicate picture that I think has been beautifully realized. The colors evoke a sense of restful harmony and peace.

this is composed nicely. I agree that it is a delicate picture. It's also puzzling: what is the sign really saying? And how is supposed to look when 'healthy'? Also it looks like someone wrote it with his/her finger dipped in V8. Cheers, Micheal

Sometimes I don't know if you are pulling my leg or not. I'll assume your comment is "straight." Aermotor was the manufacturer of windmills used to pump water out in the wilderness. This piece is like the tail fin, that senses the wind direction and moves the fan part accordingly. I tried to bring out the red writing a bit more, but it just didn't seem to work. One thing about that galvanized metal. It last forever. This sucker has probably been laying there for fifty years, and looks like it will be okay one hundred and fifty years from now.

thanks for the explanation. I really didn't know. As to galvanized metal, I think VW and Skoda cars use galvanized metal. So if you're taking a pic of a car in a field of tall grass in 100 years, you know what make it most likely is. Back to your photo. I actually like the faint writing. The whole pic supports that.

Well-visible writing would take some of the delicateness and "mysteriousness" away. Cheers, Micheal
