This shot is amazing, I think this guy was putting on a show. It looks like he is looking directly into the camera for you each time. I am just so impressed.

Very nice Dave, great to see the owl in flight from the backside showing the wonderful markings. It almost looks like the owl is smiling. I like the crop but am not sure about the post processing. I would have preferred a little more white or brightness in the owl's white plummage, the overall shot looks a little dark to me, but this might be your preferred effect which is fine. Also, the shot must be a heavier crop as it looks slightly soft, but the overall effect is very nice. PS I am having trouble posting on Naturescape, I registered as Art the other day, and tried to post a pic but it seems I am cross posting. I sent an email to the site asking for help.
