susan stone 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I love your "out of the box" editing on this image, it does create a mysterious and magical moment. And he said...."let there be light" and there was. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted September 17, 2007 The heavens have chosen to shine on your little church and the rainbow is perfectly placed. You should speak with the custodial staff about finding a different place to park the trash dumpster. Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted September 20, 2007 Thanks you guys!Shawn, in other photos that I have done, it's been cloned out. I really didn't have any intent on posting this and forgot about the dumpster. I get forgetting to mention this to the Pastor. The activity area and main entrance is actually on the other side of the Church. The see this as the back (even though it's on the road side). In the late 1800's when this church was built (original one), the road was on the other side.I should talk with him regarding an enclosure. Dave Link to comment

garydad 0 Posted September 30, 2007 Cool image Dave. The tone creates a nice romantic mood. You should do some shots from the inside. How's your wife these days? Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted October 1, 2007 Thanks Gary and thanks for asking about my wife. She's giving me a run, all joints are working great! We were just in Ashland, OR last weekend. We made a special trip to a Historical Catholic Church with intent on photographing the interior. We got there at 0930 and I thought the one Mass that is held every week was at 1100 but no, it was at 1000. The windows are just oh fantastic, built in the 1880's and all original. The little Rectory is still there. Now, the strangest thing is that between the church and rectory, someone was allowed to build a house in that lot. It's like totally weird (just that it doesn't fit in). Anyway, we will reschedule and post, Thanks ~ Dave Link to comment
