Always trying something new. I think normal photography is, well rather, boring sometimes. I thought this was a great COLORFUL picture. I felt I needed to paint it up some and that WHITE just was screaming shine to me.

I like this too! Beautiful compositon of the white numbering and the red helmuts - nice balance!

Great shot, would love to know how you did the post-processing. Very interesting.

Blurring it a bit more

 

Then, Over sharpening a bit and then over staturating it and putting glow on it which brought out the white. Also using a bit of the DODGE and BURN on it in places.

 

Because I cropped into it (way into it) the pixels were already there so the sharpening of it made the grass look that way when saturating it. I always say the best picture to manipulate is a blurry picture. The greatest thing about this picture is that there helmets and there faces and such were still pretty sharp.
