West Texas in the Morning...

Hi Doug. This looks like home to me, having driven through West Texas many times. For the uninitiated, this is rather true to the color of the place. I like the prickly pear/sage combination and that ribbon of rock. Also, the slope of the land played against the oppositing angle of the clouds is a nice touch. A very nice picture.

Thanks for visiting, and your comments. I always enjoy it too. I find the desert a fascinating place. Wish I could spend a full year there, and take in all the four seasons. Particularly after a rare wet Winter.

I only lived there about eight years of my life ;)
