Very nice creation!

Good colors and details.

Maybe you could let the stalk come out of the corner of your photo.

Nice work!

I seldom rate more than one image out of one persons submissions, but this is absolutely wonderful, very very well done!!!

I really like what you have done with the reflection, I appologise if I'm wrong but the use of the flood filter is very effective and has enhanced a lovely lily photo, there is a calming effect here that appeals to me, simple but so effective. I can see some of the anti-ps people having issues with this but to them I say that this image has a place to hang on my wall.

Good balanced composition and overall a great photograph. The flower is beautiful in nature and your treatment of it adds to its simple beauty.Congratulations.

If any weakness when taking a second look at the digital treatment, the depth of the reflection which goes too far in the background.

I would love to see a variation with the flower centered and facing diffusing its reflection. Just a wish.

Beautiful photo, once again.

Visually I find this very appealing, the simple composition and lighting look fantastic and the reflection and DOF are perfect. My only question is how much PS was used to create this piece. Yes I am not a fan of manipulated photo's however this one is not one of those that jump out at you and say I am unrealistic. I am sure this could be acheived in a studio or could it, I don't know my skill level is so so and my knowledge of PS minimal. Is the only real item in this photo the flower? Does the water exist and did flash create the reflection and PS just extended the effect?

These questions are curiosity not critisism.

Nice appealing pic.

But, can you tell us (do you remember) what created the reflections on the water? I am looking for a source of light somewhere in the background, but there is none.

What happened to it?

Or is this not a photograph, but a number of them, pasted digitally?

The image is confusing to me. So I would like to know, please.

Dia dhuit, I saw this photo some time ago and found it very appealing. However, as Stephane above has mentioned, the position of the reflection does not seem to coincide with the position of the flower. The reflection appears to originate in infinity, as would the reflection of the Sun across water, which creates an impossible juxtapositioning of the two elements of the photo.

As to the use of Photoshop, I have no problems there...as far as I know, a lot of the great photographers had their own favourite darkroom technicians who used all sorts of 'tricks' to get the best out of a photo. I know of one who always had a cigarette dangling from his lip whilst working and,at the appropriate time during printing, would take a pull on the fag to get it nice and bright, and then hold it close to an area which required 'burning'. When I ask myself the question about the integrity or otherwise of using Photoshop I think of these people who had to work with all sorts of noxious chemicals and my concience is immediately eased....I even tried it myself once or twice and found it is not for me. I retain the greatest of respect

for those who do things the 'old way' and have recently bought some B/W photos processed the 'old way ', but still it's not the only way.

Beautiful decorative image that I would like to hang it on the wall.

I can't tell if its real or artificial construction.

The light source is coming from the left, enlighten with a spot reflector and photographed in a dark place. It could be that its reflexion is coming rather naturally, as an outcome of a spot reflector.

Or, maybe, there is a filter which gives that kind of effect.

I like the meaning. It seems to me that the waves creates dissolved lily which has leaked itself through its green peak.

The decisive point or focus lies at the middle of the photograph.

That point shows the whole meaning of creation and vanishing.

In that point the lily vanished and dissolved, and at the same time the lily is here all the time, so pure in its instance.

I like it!

I like the flow, top to bottom. I like the simplicity. I like the faces in liquid.

I love the title.

I like the pure black, also the subtle shades and shadows on the flower. I like the composition. I like the matte/frame.

I don't care if it was mostly created via PS.

I can see people buying posters of this image in large numbers, if it was marketed effectively.

Nice work!

7's.
