wide open at f4, no flash... some subject movement, but I think the

keyboard came out sharp :-)

 

Any comments or suggestions? Was trying out the 70-200f4 to see if

f2.8 version would be necessary. Think I was at IOS800, but could've

been 1600. Thanks in advance

If this was shot at 800 ISO then you have excellent lack of grain/noise. I like the image - main subject is appropriately lit and I like the background also. The pianist is enjoying himself and it shows. Congrats 6/6

Thanks Tony. I'll have to check at home... Might've been 1600 but I was indeed surprised by how my drebel worked out at higher ISO's. And to catch his expression...? Pure dumb luck. I would've liked to get his face a bit sharper but I guess that's where the f4 limitation came into play. Thanks again for the visit

yup. ISO 800 with flash at around 20-25 feet away maybe.

Thanks for the additional info. I appreciate the visit to some of my images, comments and ratings. Seeing this photo reminded me to sit at my piano for a few minutes. My first love is image making and my piano has been getting 2nd hand treatment.
