aepelbacher 0 Posted September 24, 2007 I think that I like this one the best of the three ... the black steam does it for me. Also, the curve of the line of the train and the tracks adds to a lovely composition. Funny little story ... last week my friends and I took a drive through some back roads of Colorado and there's a road that follows what used to be a steam locomotive route down from a way-up-high mountain pass. At several places along the way there were water towers next to the road (used to be tracks). We stopped to take photos ... looked at the 100+ year old construction of the towers, etc. It wasn't until later that I realized that the water was for the STEAM and not necessarily for the passengers to get a drink. LOL!! I am so naive! :-) I'm so glad that you had a good time shooting these pics! Link to comment
