Looking Back at History Past

Nikon D2Xs, Nikkor 70~200 mm f 2.8 unmanipulated, full frame. Converted to B&W through Photoshop Channel Mixer by checking (ticking) the monochrome box and adjusting color sliders 'to taste'. Not a manipulation under the rules. Full frame.

A young man in Ukraine, formerly a part of the (communist) Soviet

Union, looks over his shoulder at a bas relief freize showing some

historic moment featuring Soviet founder Vladimir I. Lenin,

characteristically for the Communists showing Lenin surrounded by

fawning admirers and young girls with flowers. The boy is a modern

youth with modern dress and haircut, born after the fall of Communism

and the breakup of the Soviet Union, and Communism is not part of his

life experience. Your ratings and critiques are invited and most

welcome. If you rate harshly or very critically, please submit a

helpful and constructive comment; please share your superior

photographic knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks!

Enjoy! John
