Alberto, The photo itself jumps out. An unlikely subject in an unusual pose, thoughtful and serene, and very nicely done. I honestly can't say that the framing adds anything, but it is an interesting way of conveying age.

Alberto, I agree with Jeff, the composition is very well done, I don't think the frame adds to the subject. and it is a strong competition to it. well done without it...

Muy buena captura, Alberto, parece que estuviera el hombre, leyendo un poema del pasado, tiene un cierto gesto de nostalgia su rostro. Felicitaciones.

I always like this kind of photo's, well done Alberto. The frame is artistic, but i think i would have done a white frame.(so the photo will come out even better) Greetings from Holland.

I wanted to comment on this picture for a long time, Alberto, but I don't speak good enough Spanish to say what I wanted to say. But, here it is in English. This image works on so many different levels because, first, the man's face is compelling. It is an expression of solitude, perhaps regret. Because you have not given us much else on him, it could also pass as a father reading a letter from his son who lives in a far away town. The contents of this letter has left him in a somber mood, and he is rereading it, as if to absord the news. He sems a simple man, a villager, and a man who has made his living through the labor of his hands and the sweat of his brow. The road leads the viewer away from the man, but ends abruptly, and we are back with him again, for there really is nothing else.

Technically, the contrast of this image harkens to an earlier time, to Manuel Alvarez Bravo, to Paul Strand, even Edward Weston and Henri Cartier-Breson. A fine phtograph, amigo.

Really well done, this artistic frame! Fantastic and curious the old man expression, the tones of this photo are superb. Compliments and regards, Maury
