Donna Stavis 0 Posted September 11, 2007 Looks like a painting. Nice tones (as usual), and I like the idea of opening up the shutters and finding a lively scene inside like a fun surprise . Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted September 12, 2007 You caught them licking ice cream and not napping in summer,Pnina:-) Fortunately she is pointing her finger not in the direction of the photographer. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted September 12, 2007 Hi PN ina, I always love this kind of pictures, those telling stories, I will go to Greece, Crete the 26 of sept. for 8 days with Rycho, I am looking forward, to see this kind of scenes, but who knows what I will shoot ;D... --with love Els Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 12, 2007 I love the frame within the frame, the storytelling going on. This is a natural photo, very real and in the moment. There is a still life quality I find (in the hanging curtain string particularly) but also a real life quality. The gazes and pointing finger take me out of the frame to their world beyond. pnital 36 Posted September 13, 2007 Alberto: thanks for seeing the touch of humor it has in it... Donna: I was glad I have seized the right moment, I was watching them for some time. Thanks for finding the time in the middle of " nikud"..... Amal: Thanks, it was second or even higher floor, they were not aware of me but I was aware of them.... Elsi, I'm glad you can travel! I'm sure you will see things with your special eye... have a very nice travel with Rycho. Fred: Thanks , I think that the pointed finger was THE important factor indicating the talk about the world outside their own, so for me it was the two worlds of human life. The internal/external life phenomenon. Ali, and Ayse thank you both! Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted September 13, 2007 I like the spontaneity and graphics, their attitude (looking and pointing finger) with interation to thw world outside the frame too...as a side point I like the tiny wire up avove which is both surprising and funny like saying "I want ot be in the image".... jeffl7 0 Posted September 13, 2007 Nice capture. A little mischief, a little ice cream. I love the framing, and the little hint of action with the pointed finger and pursed lips is effective. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted September 13, 2007 Very good capture, Pnina. The expressions and attitudes are great. Excellent composition and exposure. Good shot! Regards! Link to comment

adan1 0 Posted September 15, 2007 The finger is the connecting point or bridge between these two worlds - the one that we see through your clever framing and theirs. Link to comment
guzin 0 Posted September 15, 2007 very nice colours, light and shot...nice looking dear Panina... with love... Link to comment
teresa.zafon 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Nice one Pnina. I like the composition very much and the contrast between the kids with the dark background and the white wall and window. Great eye. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 16, 2007 Thanks to all of you, really appreciate your feedback and offers . Shuki, thanks for your offer to try it in B/W, but I like it in color.....I think this one will loose something in B/W. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 16, 2007 Beautiful shot, full of the stuff of life. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 16, 2007 The framing is perfect. I really like the rich tones around the edges of the kids and the deep black on their background is just perfect. Congrats! Link to comment
blackdogstudio 1 Posted September 19, 2007 This image is riveting, my friend. One would usually associate icecream cones with being on the outside, making the viewer curious about the story behind these indoor cone-lovers. Excellent capture. Regards. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Great capture, Pnina! Looks like these little guys are in heaven ... people watching while eating ice cream. Wonderful! Were you jealous? :-) Link to comment
