jayme 0 Posted September 10, 2007 Please give me some feedback. Almost an abstract. Thanks J. Link to comment
glenwoodsherry 0 Posted September 10, 2007 Jayme, A very interesting capture; not really sure what I'm looking at, but then decided that it didn't matter: As an abstraction, as a study of blacks and greys, I like it. I probably would have had a less pronounced light on the guitar (I assume that is what it is), but that is only a (small) matter of personal taste. A solid 6/6 from me. Glenwood Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted September 11, 2007 Thanks Sherwood. Yes... it is a guitar. It is almost an abstract. If not for her hand, I think it would be an abstract. I just caught her as she was resting her head on the guitar. We had been taking pictures for a while & Erica was getting tired :) As for the light, for some reason I was having brain fade that day & I had the most difficult time getting the lights exactly where I wanted them. I must have changed them 10 times. I wanted extreme side-lighting with just a little fill. I never did get them the way I wanted them. I'm going to start drawing up a lighting diagram for each shoot, so if I want to reproduce it quickly I can from the diagram. Maybe this will help me remember. Link to comment

frenchrl 0 Posted September 25, 2007 It did take me a few seconds to figure out what I was looking at, but it was a very nice few seconds. I love the softness and diffused look. Elegance with a bit of abstract thrown in, wow! -Rich Link to comment
