A photo touchs a string.

But is it a little bit over sharpen?

Anyway, I like it.

Because the orange-red is so prominent against the cool background, this almost feels like an abstraction. I associated fire and water, the fire of a human spirit against the water of natural world. Regardless, this photo has an emotionally quickening quality that I find quite effective.

Truly colors of India! (Halo around the figure is clearly visible; is it a result of post-processing?).

I really like the colours BUT I think the frame is competing against them, I think you should leave it black

I think this is a very interesting picture with at least two levels of contrast...first the red colors with the cool colors in the background, and then light intensity greatest on the red and much less on the cool. Even another level comes in tone..with the bright (happy,intense) reds and the sad, downward looking head (seems pensive or sad).

 

It is these contrasts that draws my attention to the picture...and makes me wonder about the person (are they bright/happy or cool/pensive/sad)... wanting to know more

 

To me it is a wonderful provoking picture. Steven

heavy on the saturation of colour but the theme however is good.
