An interesting portrait and a curiously compelling expression. This image certainly deserves better than that cluster of 3/3s posted by fools. I'd like to see a version that's a bit sharper, but that's a totally subjective judgment. Fine shot. Regards...

I've come back to view this several times, and I now think my critique was too simplistic. This shot is far better than I originally thought. The expression and tones and soft focus are haunting. Fine work. Regards, Joe

Was just scanning thru the top pictures gallery..and this showed up at the end. While perhaps it is not a 7/7, it is exquisite image of this lady. I like the softness as it enhances her gentleness and femininity. The colors are warm, earthtone colors...making me think of mother earth....

 

I only wish photo.net required justification for 3/3 ratings...there point of view might be valid and we could all learn from it....but I think 3/3 rating for this picture can not be justified. IMHO...steven
