arie07 0 Posted October 3, 2007 Internet, as every member and visitor of Photonet knows, is the most efficient and cheap method of having lots of people look at our work. The problem is (for now) that the monitor screen is limited to some 1000 pixels in width. This is especialy true when we expose panoramas. In a large print a panorama can be very impressive since it is - in some cases - wider than our human field of view and this size makes a huge impression on the viewer. When a panorama is published in this media it could be a regular photo cropped to new proportions and instead of being in the regular 2x3 or so width x height it is now 3 or 4 times wider than taller but the viewer does not have a clear sense of the "panorama" effect that the photographer wants to convey. Very nice work, I like very much your images and wish there was a better medium to enjoy your panotamas. Link to comment
