aslavihervuori 0 Posted September 6, 2007 I echo my words from your earlier submission. This is somewhat grayish, and checking tonality would give this much more impact. If it's possible with your tools, try curves/levels/dodging and burning... And if this was originally colour photo, try different BW conversion. Well seen event and subjects. You have a good eye but here I see also some technical weaknesses. No ratings, as I do not them anymore. a s l a Link to comment
aslavihervuori 0 Posted September 7, 2007 OK, and after sleeping over night I must say to you, that "technical weaknesses" as I understand BW photography. If you are satisfied to your work, that is all that matters. I just commented from my viewpoint. You decide value of my word for your work. No hard feelings? a s l a Link to comment
nadopix 0 Posted September 11, 2007 Thanks for the critiques--never hard feelings from me. You're right--I needed to spend more time with the BW tones in this shot. Normally I edit my D200 photos; this was from a Coolpix (smaller sensor and JPEG files). Thanks for the advice Link to comment
