alessandro.remotti 3 Posted September 5, 2007 Finally Italy in your shots! I like the shadows forming a kind of S inside picture and dividing left upper and right lower sides, but there is something in right subject that is not convincing me, but you know that I'm a beginner and it's not so easy for me to explain or understand what it could be. Maybe the shadow between body and wall or between head and wall or the fact that is not clear her pose: head to the right, body to the left, legs crossing... Also, I'm not so sure about the half-gondola coming: it's seems something you put there to say "it's Venice" but it's not necessary because location is just clear the same without it. It is a little "forced" detail. Of course my comments have the beginner's value and I'll read others comments of experienced photographers and my rate (5/5) is compared to other Niko Guido's pictures (tou know I like your works...). toto_frank 5 Posted September 5, 2007 I agree with Alessandro the gondola is photomontage but models seems to be there. Compliment great composition and tones. Very original, but how you found a venue in Venice without fellows to allow to shot the picture??? Hovewer great shot. Compliment Antonio Link to comment
nikoguido 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Hi Allessandro and Antonio, I'm agree with you for the gondola. It sould be better without the gondola. For people, i have choise 5:30 in the morning to have nobody on streets. Sincerely yours. Niko Link to comment

stigp 0 Posted January 28, 2008 Excellent composition and style, all elements work together nicely, the venezian outfits, the gondola under the bridge, text on the wall etc. Link to comment
