Guest Guest Posted September 3, 2007 This one really does it for me. Tells a wonderful story and has soul. It's a unique and poignant self portrait. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 3, 2007 The three pictures together do. This one ties them together. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted September 4, 2007 ...As a former AF spouse, I can identify with the emotion behind this series. There's a lot of watching and waiting with heart clenched and fingers crossed. I love this photo. Technically excellent, but your expression sells it for me. Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted September 4, 2007 A lot of mood and emotion to such a quiet looking image. Very well done Micki. Kirk Link to comment
jmllovera 0 Posted September 4, 2007 Wow! Really interesting image! I don't know what it is but it doesn't matters. I like what I see and mades me feel... hummm... (romanthic?) Nice! Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 4, 2007 I tried to capture a moment of romance ~ yes. This is a ships signal beacon and my reflection is in it as I look up into it. I had done this before when I was at this museum and my husband with his camera caught my reflection. In returning I caught a different glimpse and it made me think of him. Thank you for your wonderful comments. Link to comment
JohnMWright 1 Posted September 4, 2007 Not sure what to say about this except it is really really cool. Love the toning and reflection, great expression! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 5, 2007 Wonderful dear Micki :) love how you used the reflection :) and love your expression of searching :) Biliana Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted September 5, 2007 This is so poetic and beautiful image. What makes this so special, is that allmost haunted reflection of yours. The other parts of the image make this allmost cold and spooky, but the reflected/mirrored area covers all other elements. Very well done and found image! Alpo Link to comment

mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 7, 2007 I truly love this museum and could spend days (and have) here. There are so many things to see. You must visit!!! Sunsets and museums. Beaches and museums ;) he he Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted September 7, 2007 I was wondering if it was some kind of lens...a signal beacon makes sense and is fitting (even if he's not on a ship!) :) I also like that this is an actual reflection rather than a composite of two images (although that would have worked as well). This just makes sense to me and really appeals. Love the toning. Love the light. Les Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 261 Posted September 27, 2007 It doesn't make an impression of searching on me, but I like it nevertheless! Nice Sepia! PDE Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 28, 2007 Well it was a big museum I was looking for him ;) Thank you for liking the sepia. I love this filter and try to use it when it works. :) Link to comment
