This one really does it for me. Tells a wonderful story and has soul. It's a unique and poignant self portrait.

...As a former AF spouse, I can identify with the emotion behind this series. There's a lot of watching and waiting with heart clenched and fingers crossed. I love this photo. Technically excellent, but your expression sells it for me.

Wow! Really interesting image! I don't know what it is but it doesn't matters. I like what I see and mades me feel... hummm... (romanthic?) Nice!

I tried to capture a moment of romance ~ yes.

This is a ships signal beacon and my reflection is in it as I look up into it. I had done this before when I was at this museum and my husband with his camera caught my reflection. In returning I caught a different glimpse and it made me think of him.

Thank you for your wonderful comments.

This is so poetic and beautiful image. What makes this so special, is that allmost haunted reflection of yours. The other parts of the image make this allmost cold and spooky, but the reflected/mirrored area covers all other elements. Very well done and found image!

I truly love this museum and could spend days (and have) here. There are so many things to see.

You must visit!!! Sunsets and museums. Beaches and museums ;) he he

I was wondering if it was some kind of lens...a signal beacon makes sense and is fitting (even if he's not on a ship!) :) I also like that this is an actual reflection rather than a composite of two images (although that would have worked as well). This just makes sense to me and really appeals. Love the toning. Love the light.
