Baerbel, you are old enough but do you remember... In the 1950s there was a TV show called, "The People's Choice". In that series there was a dog named Cleo who was one of the main stars on the show. A person would do a "voice over" while the dog was being shown, so that the impression was that we were hearing what the dog was thinking.

 

Your old dog looks exactly, as I recall, like Cleo looked in that TV series. Thanks for the memorandum and I'm sure that I will someday be doing the same for my 17 year old cat Wilbur, but he currently appears to have many more years on his legs.

Shawn, unfortunately I don't know anything about Cleo, as I did not move to the U.S. until 1980. I am sure I would have enjoyed the show, however. Snoopy was part of our family for 13 years, and even though she passed away a long time ago, I still miss her. I appreciate your comment. Thanks. B :)
