Great concept here!

I like the color, clarity and composition. And i really like that you can see the reflection of the marshmellow in the forks. It lets us know that it`s not manipulated.

We're doing a trimester of "product" type shots using only film, so all shots have to be staged and produced prior to the actual shoot. This image was captured as one of the test shots for the final image, which is being developed as we speak.

 

Next trimester we will do the second part of this course, which is very similar, but shot 100% digital.

 

Final image was shot at f/8 with an exposure time of 15 seconds and one burst of flash with an umbrella bounced off a white wall.

Great ideas. But can you enlighten me why the fork in the left is outfocus ? What about if the mid fork move to the right a bit? Just my thoughts for sharing.
