Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted August 30, 2007 So, when did foxes start climing trees? I like the blue bottom half and sharp detail, but the purple sky detracts from his head. IF I were a big PhotoShop fan I would say make the sky blue also, but then it would not be natural Link to comment
dave_bishop 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Kjartan, You have captured a rare moment here. People do not focus enough on the time, patience, hard work, luck, and quick thinking necessary to capture moments like these. Just to be fortunate enough to happen upon these moments are few and far between. To then compose, focus crisply and not miss the moment takes more skill than most realize. To capture these shots and think one can consistently control the background, colors, and distractions are asking too much. Again to "Photoshop" a picture like this with anything but minor saturation, sharpening, and white balance is to me, making these photos just a magicians illusion. Nature photography should be kept as pure as possible, to retain reality. I am not an expert but a serious amateur, and growing up in the outdoors I know a great natural moment when I see it. Keep up the good work and don't change a thing. D. Bishop. Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted August 30, 2009 Great lighting, late or early on an overcast day. There seems to be some fill flash too, in the eyes. Nice work! Link to comment
mbh 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Great image, I'm envious of the natural beauty you see in taking these shots. Link to comment
