leo burkey 0 Posted August 29, 2007 This was taken at Villa Grove Colorado during an approaching storm. Your comments are always welcome. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted August 29, 2007 Leo, great layered composition. Excellent exposure too. I am interested in what part of Colorado this was taken? Is this down by the Sangre de Cristo Range?. Just an absolutely gorgeous image! A 7/6 anon. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

ben maddox 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Classically fresh and wonderfully toned composition! Is this near Alamosa or the Great Sand Dunes? Thanks for sharing! Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted August 31, 2007 The closest town was Villa Grove and it's been so long ago that I not real sure of the exact location. Thank you all for your nice comments. Link to comment

whydangle 0 Posted April 21, 2010 Hey Leo, congrats on making the home page gallery. Very deserving image! My guess is that this is either the Sangre de Christo range to the southeast or the Collegiate Peaks to the northwest. I've been to both, but I couldn't recognize the mountains by sight. I used to camp near Buena Vista often when I lived in Denver. Those lenticular storm clouds are impressive! Link to comment
