I don't think that this is a sport, but it was the closest catagory.

Great action shot.

I think the zoom blur is a bit overdone - if the boat is pin sharp so too should be the rider.

I would also crop a bit tighter behind the boat to give more place for the rider to go.

Sure it's a sport.

Nice idea with this shot, but perhaps the rider should be clearer... Perhaps.

Its still a nice effective action shot.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I admire action shots. I haven't had the opportunity to do many so I am new to it. I think you are right, I got carried away with the zoom effect, and I think you have a good point about the rider.

This photo has lots of impact the way you processed it Linda. I really like it. Well done.

I think impact is the right word for this shot. It puts the  viewer right in the action; I can almost feel the water hitting my face. Well done.
